"The Letter to Santa" is a coloured cross-stitch chart (very easy to follow) with instructions translated in English.  The text ("The letter to Santa") is available both in French and in English on the grid.
It comes with finishing instructions to transform your work into a clever "mailbox frame".

Only Santa and the Christmas tree without the text: 117 wide x 69 high

• 18,6 x 23,8 cm (7¼ x 9½ in) on a 16 count Aida
• 21,3 x 27,3 cm (8½ x 10¾ in) on a 28 count linen or a 14 count Aida

Only Santa and the Christmas tree:

• 19,5 x 11,5 cm (7¾ x 4½ in) on a 32 count linen
• 18,6 x 11 cm (7¼ x 4¼ in) on a 16 count Aida
• 21,3 x 12,5 cm (8½ x 5 in) on a 28 count linen or a 14 count Aida

Special stitches: This is a pure cross-stitch design with very few back stitches (the mouth).

Threads and colours

This pattern shows 14 colours (DMC references on the chart).

The model on the picture has been stitched on a 32 count linen fabric (colour "Natural and "Ecru") using two strands of cotton over two threads of fabric.

Recommended Fabric: of your choice regarding the type (linen / evenweave / Aida) and the stitch count, dimension if you want to follow the finishing instructions by the designer: colour "Ecru" or "off-white" = at least 35x40 cm (14x16 in) and colour "Natural Linen" = at least 35x25 cm (14x10 in)
