"Under the Snow" is a counted cross-stitch chart with instructions translated in English.
Design stitch count: 149 wide x 65 high
Design area:
- 12,4 x 5,4 cm (4⅞ x 2⅛ in) on a 32 count fabric (if stitched as a miniature)
- 24,8 x 10,8 cm (9¾ x 4¼ in) on a 32 count fabric
- 23,7 x 10,3 cm (9¼ x 4 in) on a 16 count Aida
- 27,1 x 11,8 cm (10⅝ x 4⅝ in) on a 28 count fabric or on 14 count Aida
Special stitches: The design uses mainly cross-stitches and very few back stitches.
Threads and colours
This pattern shows 9 colours. It can be stitched either with DMC treads or with Retord du Nord and Atalie threads references (all thread numbers available on the chart).
The model on the picture has been stitched as a miniature on a 40 count linen fabric (colour Natural) using one strand of cotton over one thread of fabric. But you can stitch it using two strands of cotton over two threads of fabric.
Recommended fabric: of your choice regarding the type (linen, aida or evenweave) and the stitch count, colour "natural linen", 40x35 cm (16x14 in).
